die GESCHICHTE
Als ich zur Schule ging, malte ich im Unterricht Graffiti auf meine Hefte, während ich den Erinnerungen an meinen letzten Familien-Urlaub an der französischen Atlantikküste nach hing, statt aufzupassen.
Als ich zur Uni ging, zeichnete ich in der Vorlesung Graffiti auf meine Studienmappe, während ich von der Nordsee-, Atlantik- und Pazifikküste träumte, statt mitzuschreiben.
Als ich anfing zu arbeiten und währenddessen an die Wellen und das Meer dachte, statt mich auf meine Aufgaben zu konzentrieren, fielen mir die Graffiti ein und ich gründete SONNENBRAND°.
Das war im Jahr 2007.
Als ich mit meinem SONNENBRAND° T-Shirt am Strand saß, auf das Meer blickte und den Bodyboardern und einem Surfer auf seinem Alaia zuschaute, statt selbst zu surfen, war die Idee von TIMBERWEDGE geboren.
Das war im Jahr 2012.

2021. Die Geschichte geht weiter. Mit dem TIMBERWEDGE 2.0
the STORY
When I went to school, I drew graffiti on my notebooks while dwelling on memories of recent family vacations on the French Atlantic coast instead of following the teaching in class.
When I went to college, I sketched in class graffiti on my study wallet while dreaming of the North Sea or the shores of Atlantic and Pacific Ocean instead of taking notes.
When I started my first job, my thoughts were still with the waves and the sea instead of concentrating on the files on my desk. I remembered the graffiti from school and college times…And I founded SONNENBRAND°.
That was in 2007.
When sitting on the beach with my SONNENBRAND° t-shirt, looking out to sea and watching the bodyboarders and a surfer on his Alaia instead of surfing by myself, the idea of TIMBERWEDGE was born.
That was in 2012.
The Ocean is always in mind. To be continued…
